Discover the VAE in the heart of the Chartreuse massif. This 16 km and 300D+ route is accessible to all and allows you to cross the numerous hamlets of the commune of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, with a magnificent view of the Grand Som!

(1) From the Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse Tourist Office, take the Perquelin path.
After 600 m, take the path on the right which crosses and runs alongside the Guiers Morts. (2) Once you reach the road turn right to reach the place called "Les Antonins". At the 2nd kilometre, observe the magnificent view of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse in front of the Grand Som summit (2,026 m). Continue
on the road called chemin de Gontière, then cross the villages of Mollard Bellet (3), Gontière, Mollarière...(1) From the Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse Tourist Office, take the Perquelin path.

on the road called chemin de Gontière, then cross the villages of Mollard Bellet (3), Gontière, Mollarière (4) until Marchandière. (5) Here, turn right to join the chemin de Gérentière. At the hamlet of Saint-Hugues, turn left onto the D57B road, which you should follow for about 150 metres. (It is also possible to visit the Arcabas Museum in the Chartreuse by going straight on Saint Hugues in Chartreuse). (6) Just after the bend in the road, take the path on the right. After 1.2 km on this road (7), turn right, cross the stream of Corbelles twice to take the road des Michallets (8) which crosses the hamlet. (9) At kilometre 7.6, join the D512 which leads to Martinière. (10) In the bend, take the road that goes up and then the 1st path on your left. At the level of Chemin des Guillets continue straight on the path opposite. At the end of the next climb when you find the road, turn right onto the road to Les Revols (11) which you will cross. The climb out of the hamlet is the most difficult of the route. A short passage through Pierre Mesure (12) will allow you to finish your passage in the forest. Back on the Chemin du Grand Logis (13) you will cross the Pont de la Dame before the ascent to Saint Pierre de Chartreuse.
