This itinerary begins with a small detour through the Savoie vineyards, along the Grésivaudan valley, the eastern edge of the Chartreuse.
The plateau benefits from exceptional aerological conditions that attract free-flight enthusiasts from all over the world. The famous Coupe Icare festival is an annual highlight.
  • Tips
Grésivaudan wine: Grésivaudan, near Savoie, is also a wine-growing area. In Bernin, winegrower Thomas Finot makes a fine wine using local grape varieties, including white verdesse, red persan and étraire and other more widely known grape varieties such as pinot noir, chardonnay and viognier.
A young eco-responsible winegrower, Thomas Finot takes meticulous care of his vineyard and uses traditional methods to allow the grape varieties and the land to express themselves in his wines.
