Steps of the itinerary :
Parking du Crêt des Egaux > Les Egaux > Le Buissonnet > Cherlieu - Clavaire > Cherlieu > Le Clot > Sur Les Epallets > Les Rajaches > La Pérelle > Brévardière > Les Epallets > Les Egaux > Parking du Crêt des Egaux.
(1) From the Crêt des Egaux parking lot, follow the road to your left towards the ski lifts, then turn left at the first intersection towards the hamlet of Les Egaux. In the hamlet, turn right between the houses toward Cherlieu-Calvaire. You'll reach a road that you follow for 50 meters before turning left onto Chemin des Combes. Cross the road again and take the path that descends along the meadow. After a shaded section, you will arrive at the old road to Cherlieu.
(2) At the sign for “Les Buissonnets,” turn left toward Cherlieu. Continue straight along the road that crosses the hamlet. Before the last houses, take the path on the left that climbs into the forest towards Le Clot via Chemin du Pissot. Ascend the path that follows the stream, and at the wood deposit area, cross the stream to take the left path into the forest. The path becomes a bit steeper as it turns left, moving away from the stream. At the top of the ascent, ignore the two paths that go to the right and take the flat path that crosses. The path descends to an intersection where you turn right (sign with a yellow arrow). You will exit the forest at the top of the slopes of the Egaux ski station. Enjoy the view of the village of Saint-Hugues-en-Chartreuse with the Grand Som in the background. You will re-enter the forest at Le Clot.
(3) Turn left and descend towards Sur les Épallets.
(4) At the “Sur les Épallets” sign, take the path that leads back on your right. Follow the trail lined with tall trees that descends to the left. You will reach a road that you take to the right toward the hamlet of Garcinière. At the basin, take the path in front of the bread oven that goes to the left. After a short descent, cross the Rachas stream and continue on the path to the left. Take the path that goes right before the colony buildings toward La Pérelle. After the meadow, descend to the stream, cross it, and climb up to the road leading to Col du Coq.
(5) At the “La Pérelle” sign, follow the direction of Brévardière along the road to your left and continue to the heart of the hamlet.
(6) At the basin, turn left between the houses and descend again toward the river. At the old mill, cross the river and ascend toward a meadow. The path descends to a stream that you will cross before reaching the road at Les Épallets. Turn left and then, 50 meters later, take the path to the right behind the electrical transformer, ascending towards Les Egaux. At the second post “Les Épallets” at the top of the ascent, turn left to return to the hamlet of Les Egaux.
(7) From there, turn right twice to return to the Crêt des Egaux parking lot.
