The concept
Like a ski resort, the trail resort offers courses (blue, green, red or black), equipment and services adapted to the practice of trail running: coaching, personalized advice, a smartphone application, entertainment, etc. .
The very first Trail resort opened in the heart of the Chartreuse massif, in St Pierre de Chartreuse, in 2011. There are now around thirty Stations, in France and in Europe (Spain, Belgium, etc.).
The Chartreuse trail resort
On the Chartreuse massif, the trail station is:
- A “main” reception base located in St Pierre de Chartreuse (in the premises of the Raidlight company), and a second reception in St Hilaire du Touvet, at the Petites Roches campsite.
- 15 trail routes departing from St Pierre de Chartreuse, St Hilaire du Touvet and Grenoble
- 4 trail workshops
- 5 vertical kilometers
- hosting partners of the trail resort, offering ++ services to trail runners (coming soon).
