At the foot of Chamechaude, the highest peak in the Chartreuse, Col de Porte is a small family resort. At 1300m, 20 minutes from Grenoble: 2 ski lifts, 1 beginner carpet, 1 children's playground, 3 runs (2 green, 1 blue), 1 snowpark, 1 toboggan run.

The Domaine alpin du Col de Porte is a small, renowned family resort located at 1326 m altitude in the heart of the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park, on the Sarcenas commune between Le Sappey and Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse. The site benefits from exceptional snow cover throughout the winter season, making it an ideal place for skiing and hiking of all kinds. The Prairie side of the resort is particularly well suited to learning to ski, with a kindergarten for ESF lessons, a carpet and a snowpark. On the snow front, you'll also find a secure toboggan run, equipment rental stores, a restaurant with terraces, as well as a tourist residence with accommodation for 4 to 10 people and a wellness area. It's an ideal place to spend quality time with family and friends. Whether you're a skier, hiker or just a spectator, Col de Porte welcomes you in summer and winter alike, in a magnificent, authentic landscape just 20 min from Grenoble, 50 min from Chambéry and 1h15 from Lyon.
